Über diesen Titel
In this powerful and deeply honest episode of Sunday Mornings with Pamela Cone, Rick Evans shares his journey from childhood trauma and gang life to military service, incarceration, homelessness, and ultimately redemption.
Raised on the streets of Philadelphia and living in more than fifty homes as a child, Rick’s early life was shaped by instability and pain. After serving three years in Iraq, he returned home carrying internal battles that eventually led him into the Georgia prison system even time on death row.
But Rick’s story did not end in prison. Through faith, reflection, and the grace of God, he discovered healing and purpose. Through a cathartic writing process, Rick authored his flagship book, My Life For Yours: Never Judge A Person Unless You Walk A Mile In Their Shoes.
Today, he is the founder of Noah’s Ark, a nonprofit dedicated to mentorship, outreach, and meeting people where they are. With a philosophy of “each one, reach one,” Rick is committed to bringing programs directly into communities that need hope most.
This episode is a testimony of survival, transformation, and the undeniable power of God’s grace and restoration to rewrite any story.
