The heart of God has always been for the lost. No one is too far gone, too broken, or too forgotten to be rescued. The message of salvation is for whosoever will believe, and that means everyone has value in the eyes of Heaven. We each carry an assignment—to seek, to speak, and to reach. The Shepherd still leaves the ninety-nine to find the one, and He calls us to share in that mission. The question is not whether the lost matter, but whether we are willing to go after them. Make sure your life reflects the One who saved you, and boldly declare that Jesus is Lord.

Live in the Spirit, Not the Flesh

There is a difference between knowing about God and truly walking with Him. Spiritual life is not sustained by intellect, talent, or human effort—it is fueled by the Spirit of God. You can have knowledge, titles, and accomplishments, but without the Spirit, they amount to nothing of eternal value. To hear God clearly, you must be hungry for Him and willing to quiet the distractions around you. The flesh offers noise; the Spirit offers life. When we live in the Spirit, everything changes, and Jesus is lifted high in every area of our lives.

God has never called His people to blend in—He has called them to stand apart. Holiness is not about perfection in our own strength, but about surrendering our lives completely to Him. We are invited to present ourselves as living sacrifices, transformed by the renewing of our minds and empowered by His Spirit. Jesus is not coming back for an all-show, no-go church—He is coming for a people who live what they believe. A standard is a unit of measurement used to calibrate by, and our standard is not culture, opinion, or convenience—our standard is Jesus Christ. Through Him we have been brought near, redeemed, and made new. Now the call is clear: live differently, worship in spirit and truth, and pursue the holiness that reflects the One who saved you. It’s not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit that we walk in the life He has prepared.

There are times when the noise of the flesh grows so loud that the voice of God becomes hard to hear. Breaking free from bondage, gaining clarity, and walking in true spiritual power requires discipline and surrender. Fasting is a deliberate choice to say no to self so the Spirit can take the lead. It humbles the heart, sharpens spiritual focus, and opens the door for God to redirect, restore, and renew. When self is crushed and laid down, God is able to rebuild something stronger, purer, and more fruitful. True freedom begins when the flesh is subdued and the Spirit is allowed to rule.

Small habits form roots—good ones bring life and fruit, while unhealthy ones can grow deep and difficult to remove. When you plant yourself in good soil and nurture what is right, growth follows. This year, choose wisely, trust God with the unknown, and step forward into a path you have not walked before.

Shake yourself, find your second wind, and move forward with purpose. Burn the bridges that pull you backward so you can fully step into what God has ahead. The time is now.

Christmas is far more than a date on the calendar or a tradition passed down through generations. It is a divine rescue mission, carefully planned long before the first star appeared in the sky. This season calls us to remember, to tell the next generation what God has done, and to refocus our hearts on why heaven stepped into earth. Christmas reminds us that God had a plan, paid the price, and made a way where there was none. When we remove ourselves from the center and return our focus to Him, the holiday becomes a holy day—celebrating the greatest exchange the world has ever known.
