 During our devotional time, we explore the wonders of migration. How do birds and insects know when it’s time to go? In Arts‑n‑Crafts, we head to the Forest Classroom for a hands‑on migration activity. This leads us into Curriculum Corner, where we discuss the first steps of homeschooling when you pull your children out of traditional school mid‑year. Then we move into our interview with Pastor Ron Kelly. He is married to Collene, an elementary school teacher, and together they have four children. Ron enjoys wilderness canoe trips, mission travel, and spending time working alongside his family and friends.

Every child’s first school is their home. Homeschool Companion strives to support the 2 million families that home school their children each year. Hosted by Rose Gamblin, the program is dedicated to home-based education and making the most of the learning experience through student centeredness and differentiated instruction.
