Queer Belfast icon, Martin Murray was up until recently Vice-Chair of Quire Belfast and Ulster Liaison for Sporting Pride. He also founded Belfast Frontrunners, Aeracha Uladh GAC, Ulsters LGBTQ+ Sports Day and Ulsters LGBTQ+ Women’s Sports Day. He currently writes the sports articles for GNI Magazine and is also currently setting up his first Community Interest Company ‘Fair Game’ which will focus on LGBTQIA+ Sports Development in Ulster while also writing a book on the last 50 years of LGBTQIA+ Sports in Ireland. He's currently seeking board members for the CIC so reaching out tocnew people who might be interested in getting involved.Join in on the conversation as we discuss how to get involved in more LGBTQ+ inclusion sporting clubs and alcohol free safe spaces, creating Ulsters first LGBTQ+ Gaelic Football team and Ulsters first Runners Club, how he got funding for DEI programmes, our experiences with celebrities, trans inclusion in sport and some Hitler facts....maybe...]
