    is chief and professor in the division of gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Michigan, where he leads research on diet and nutrition and their impact on functional bowel disorders. He is also co-host of Healio's Gut Talk podcast. Chey is the president of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) for the 2025–2026 term.
