  • The Influence of The Mainstream | Reacting to Rabbi Shais Taub & Rabbi YY Jacobson | Ep. 59
    Feb 8 2026

In this episode of the Greeting Moshiach Podcast, we address a clear reality within Lubavitch:

Most people’s views on Moshiach are shaped not by direct study of the Rebbe’s sichos, but by what the “mainstream” voices choose to say, avoid, or dismiss.

Episode 59 examines how influence works in practice:

    • How communal belief is formed through repetition, silence, and authority
    • Why ideas not spoken publicly are automatically perceived as “fringe”
    • How prominent speakers shape what feels “normal,” regardless of sources
    • Why mocking or dismissing the Rebbe as Moshiach replaces honest engagement
    • The difference between learning the Rebbe’s words and absorbing atmosphere

We react to clips from well-known Lubavitch speakers - not to attack individuals, but to analyze the messaging, the framing, and the consequences.

This episode argues a simple point:

When people don’t learn the sichos inside, the mainstream becomes the teacher.

The Rebbe spoke clearly in 5751–5752 about:

    • The completion of avodas habirurim
    • The presence and revelation of Moshiach
    • The responsibility to recognize and greet him

If those teachings are absent from public discourse, people naturally conclude they are not central—or not real.

    We encourage listeners to:

    • Learn Besuras HaGeulah in order, start to finish
    • Study the sichos of 5751 & 5752 inside
    • Stop mistaking silence for neutrality
    • Return to the Rebbe as the primary authority

  • The Sources - Every Claim Backed Up | Ep. 58
    Feb 1 2026

People asked for sources. This episode is the receipts.

In our recent reaction to Rabbi ‪@manisfriedman‬ , we disagreed with a bunch of claims — and listeners wanted to know: where are you getting this from? So we made an episode that’s basically a reading-inside “source sheet”: the Rebbe’s words, inside, with the key claims spelled out clearly.

    To watch that episode:

Was the Rebbe Against “Yechi”? | Reacting ...

We start by acknowledging something real: for many years, it was absolutely a known approach not to publicize “the Rebbe is Moshiach” in a way that pushes Jews away from Chassidus. Then we show why that framework shifts dramatically in the Rebbe’s later years — when the Rebbe says the avodah has moved forward and the shlichus is now to receive / greet Moshiach in a literal way, and when the Rebbe publicly encourages the singing of Yechi.

This episode isn’t about vibes. It’s about text. Read it, hear it, and decide if these points are “made up” — or exactly what the Rebbe is saying.

What you’ll hear in this episode:

The early “don’t do things that distance Jews from Chassidus” sources

Chayei Sarah 5752: shlichus defined as bringing the Geulah ha’amitis v’hashleimah, and what changes now

The Rebbe’s own framing: there is a Moshiach of the generation, and now he is being revealed/actualized

Public encouragement of Yechi in 770 (and the proof the Rebbe could stop a niggun when he wanted)

“Ein melech b’lo am” — kabbolas hamalchus is the people’s job

Mishpatim 5752: the Rebbe speaks about "Pe'ulaso Shel Melech HaMoshiach" and the world shifting accordingly

The Rambam framework: b’chezkat Moshiach → Moshiach vadai, and what the Rebbe says about “open our eyes” to see it

  • Farbrengen With Rabbi Fisch | Ep. 57
    Jan 25 2026

Grew Up Around Lubavitch – But the Rebbe Changed Everything”

A Personal Journey from Borough Park to the Threshold of Geulah

In this very special episode of the Greeting Moshiach Podcast, Simcha Fisch and Levi Polichenco sit down with his father-in-law — a man whose personal history is deeply intertwined with Lubavitch, yet whose journey toward recognizing the Rebbe’s unique role unfolded gradually, honestly, and powerfully.

This conversation begins generations earlier, with a grandfather who worked in 770 during the Frierdiker Rebbe’s time, and traces a path through Borough Park, non-Lubavitch yeshivos, early exposure to Crown Heights, the parades, the farbrengens, and the unmistakable presence of the Rebbe himself.

Rather than arriving through structured Chassidus learning or ideology, this story centers on something far more direct: the Rebbe.

The experience of standing near him.

    Hearing him say Gut Shabbos.

Watching history unfold in real time.

    In Part 1, we explore:

    • Growing up “around” Lubavitch without formally being Lubavitch

    • Early debates about Tefillin and Moshiach — before having the sources

    • The Rebbe as a living, present reality (not an abstract idea)

    • First visits to 770 and the emotional impact of being near the Rebbe

    • The pre-internet era: hotline recordings, tapes, and word-of-mouth

    • The shift from Moshiach as a distant, mystical figure to a real אדם בשר ודם

    • The mounting clarity of the early נ״א–נ״ב period

    • The atmosphere leading into Yud-Alef Nissan and the Gulf War era

This is not a polished retrospective.

It’s a raw, firsthand account of how awareness developed as it was happening — before narratives were fixed, before camps formed, before history was written.

And this is only the beginning.

Part 1 brings us right up to the doorstep of Nun-Beis.

Part 2 will take us inside Nun-Gimmel itself.

    Stay tuned.

The story is just getting started.

  • The Fall of Nicholas Maduro and The Coming Redemption | Ep. 55
    Jan 12 2026

A lot happened in the world recently — and we use it to zoom out and ask: what does it mean when “impossible” evil collapses in minutes, with precision, preparation, and a clear mission? We talk about the reported 88-minute mission that removed Nicolás Maduro, and what it shows: when there’s initiative and clarity, what looked “not shayach” can suddenly become reality. And we bring it straight into our avodah: we can’t keep treating Geulah like a distant theory. We need action, responsibility, and a united voice. From there we go deep into the Yalkut Shimoni: Mashiach stands on the roof and calls out “the time of your redemption has arrived” — and the strange line: “and if you don’t believe… see my light shining on you.” Why wouldn’t people believe? What does “see my light” mean in real life?We connect this to the Rebbe’s explanation about Beis Rabbeinu Shebebavel (770), the idea of the Shechinah’s primary dwelling in Golus, and how this message spreads outward when we stop being embarrassed and start owning what the Rebbe taught — confidently, consistently, and with ahavas Yisrael. We also touch on the AI revolution (agent mode, automation, and how the world is visibly being prepared for a reality of “no work” — a taste of the future), and we end with a practical demand: every person can be a "Mevaser Geulah" in their circle — not waiting for “someone bigger,” but taking responsibility to learn it, live it, and pass it on.We Want Mashiach Now.📩 Questions or thoughts? • Processing Tragedy in the Time of Geulah | Ep. 54
    Dec 21 2025

In this powerful Chanukah episode of Greeting Moshiach, Levi Polichenco and Simcha Fisch sit together in person to process a painful tragedy that shook the Jewish world — and to ask the deeper question: How does a Chossid respond when something happens that does not seem to fit with Geulah?

Rather than rushing to slogans or instant positivity, this conversation takes the Rebbe’s approach seriously: allowing space for grief, acknowledging fear and pain honestly, and then carefully rebuilding clarity without weakening faith.

The Rebbe taught that we do not explain away tragedy, justify it, or use it as a prop for inspiration. Some events are simply not okay. And yet, even while saying “this doesn’t make sense,” the Rebbe never retreated from his insistence that we are in the time of Geulah and that Moshiach is here.

This episode explores how both truths can exist at once.

We discuss the necessity of processing pain, the difference between questions and doubts, and why seichel (intellect) alone can never be the foundation of belief. Using examples from Gemara, Chassidus, and lived experience, we explain how a Jew lives with unanswered questions — without allowing them to become cracks in emunah.

A major theme is Kosis LaMaor — the idea that even in times of comfort and menuchah, a Jew must feel “crushed” by the absence of the full revelation. Not crushed into despair, but pressed into deeper urgency. Not complacent, not numb — but alive, demanding, and ready.

Chanukah, with its lights shining outward into the darkness, becomes the framework for understanding why life in this physical world is infinitely precious, why loss hurts so deeply, and why the ultimate answer is not escape to heaven — but Geulah here, in this world, with the return of every soul in a physical body.

This is not an episode of easy answers.

It is an episode of honesty, depth, and resolve.

L’chaim — and may we immediately merit the Geulah Ha’amitis Ve’hashleimah, with Moshiach Vadai, the Beis HaMikdash, and Techiyas HaMeisim.

  • Is Moshiach’s Identity the Ikkar or Living on the Geula Train? | With Yosef Shidler | Ep. 52
    Nov 23 2025

Episode 52 of the Greeting Moshiach Podcast is a real farbrengen-style conversation with R’ Yosef Shidler tackling one of the biggest questions people are asking today:

Does speaking openly about the Rebbe as Melech HaMoshiach come at the expense of everything else — Chitas, Rambam, avodah, shlichus — or is it actually the engine that gives all of it direction, urgency, and chayus?

We get into the real-life questions:

    • Balancing personal ruchniyus with spreading Moshiach’s message

    • Whether the focus is “identity” or living with Geulah-consciousness

    • How to talk to someone when you only have one minute

    • Why the world today looks the way it does — and why it’s not random

    • Nun-Alef / Nun-Beis as a lens for understanding global events

    • Why many Jews are suddenly Moshiach-aware

    • Where “identity” fits in — and why it’s inseparable from the Geula itself.

Yosef brings fascinating insights from Ovadia, the Bnei Yissaschar, Jake Turx’s White House moment, global shifts since COVID, and the deeper meaning of the chaos unfolding in the world. Levi pushes the point that the only reason we can say “we are in Geula” is because the Rebbe already received the mission of Moshiach.

The takeaway: Learn Inyonei Geula u’Moshiach. Open your eyes. Recognize what time in history we’re living in. And let it transform your life.

  • Staying Grounded: What Is the Shlichus? | Ep. 51
    Nov 17 2025

In this episode of Greeting Moshiach, we go straight to the core: What does the Rebbe actually want from us now?

For decades, shlichus meant spreading Torah, mitzvos, and Chassidus. But in the sichos of 5751–5752 — especially the landmark Chayei Sarah 5752 — the Rebbe made it clear that something fundamental has shifted. The world has already been transformed. The avodah of golus is complete. And the shlichus of our time is a totally new one: to greet Moshiach, to accept his malchus, and to prepare the world for his revelation b’poel mamash.

    We break down:

    • How the Rebbe framed our generation as the final generation of galus and the first of Geulah.
    • What it means that Moshiach is already revealed — and that Hashem has already charged him with the shlichus of Geulah.
    • Why “continuing the same way” is no longer an option.~ How every aspect of shlichus — teaching, fundraising, community work, minyanim, buildings, mivtzoim — now passes through a new gate: Kabbolas Pnei Moshiach.
    • And why believing it, living it, and speaking it is the key to helping others receive it.
