  • Girls Gone Country x Midland
    Jun 26 2026
From boybands and Germany to a legendary North German egg liqueur with a name no one could pronounce, this interview with Midland went completely off the rails - in the best way. Together with Nicky, the band talks about their special connection to Germany, their favorite memories with German fans and why they always love coming back. They share stories from shows in Hamburg and Berlin, their appreciation for great food and cold beer and even a family story involving a classic German Mercedes. Of course, they also dive into the music. Midland reveals which of their songs their wives love most, which tracks they consider their most romantic - or most heartbreaking - and offer some fascinating behind-the-scenes insights into their songwriting. But the biggest laughs come courtesy of a small gift from Northern Germany. A bottle of "Klötenköm" completely catches the band off guard, leading to a hilarious conversation about German dialects, impossible translations and the very important question: what exactly is in that bottle?

  • Girls Gone Country x McCoy Moore
    Apr 6 2026
Sunshine State vibes, Berlin chaos and a missed flight - this episode has it all. We sat down in London with rising country artist McCoy Moore fresh off an unforgettable weekend in Berlin, where things got so wild he literally missed his flight. From rebooking while hungover to somehow making it in time for a show in Munich, this one already starts like a movie. We talk about his brand new single “Sunshine State”, the title track of his upcoming album dropping May 22, and how he’s bringing those laid-back Florida vibes all the way to stages in London. But this episode goes way beyond the music. From favorite chip flavors (Thai Sweet Chicken takes the crown) to wild 4th of July beach nights in Florida, we get into the stories behind the songs. McCoy shares how he finds inspiration in everyday conversations, even random moments like meeting fans… or singing ideas into his phone in the shower. We also dive into life between Nashville and Florida, dream trucks (including a vintage F-150 that still needs some love) and the kind of real-life experiences that shape his sound. It’s raw, funny, a little chaotic and exactly what you’d expect from a conversation with McCoy Moore. If you’re into country music, storytelling and those “how did we even survive that night?” kind of memories, this one’s for you.

  • Girls Gone Country C2C Special with Tyler Sjöström
    Mar 3 2026
For the very first episode of Girls Gone Country Talk we couldn’t have asked for a more fitting guest than Tyler Sjöström. Tyler has been back to Berlin several times now and when he talks about C2C, it doesn’t sound like just another tour stop. It sounds like coming home. Like pulling into a driveway where the porch light’s already on and someone’s waiting inside. There’s something about this festival that feels less like an event and more like a gathering - a little family that reconnects once a year. That’s exactly how it felt for us, too. In this conversation, Tyler opens up about what country music really means to him. Not just a genre. Not just a sound. But storytelling. Real stories. Songs with a little dust on their boots and truth in their bones. The kind of songs that don’t try to be perfect - they just try to be honest. We talk about the special energy of the Berlin crowd, the way artists and fans connect here and why country music seems to be growing all over the world right now. In a time when so much feels polished, filtered, or artificially created, there’s something powerful about standing on a stage with nothing but a guitar and a story that actually happened. One of the most touching parts of the episode is when Tyler shares about the “Sad Song Society” rounds — intimate songwriter circles where artists don’t just perform, they explain. They laugh. Sometimes they choke up. They let you see where the song came from. And in those moments, you realize vulnerability isn’t weakness - it’s the bridge. He also speaks candidly about self-doubt and impostor syndrome and how even as an artist, there are days when you don’t quite feel worthy of the title. His wife, he says, is often the one who reminds him of the truth when his inner voice gets too loud. That kind of grounding love. At the end, Tyler plays “Ain’t No Good,” a deeply personal song about those quiet battles inside your own head. And for a moment, everything slows down. It’s just a voice, a guitar and a room full of us listening. This episode feels like sitting around a farmhouse kitchen table after sunset. Warm light. Open windows. Honest conversation. No rush. Just music that means something. We can’t wait to see him back in Berlin and we can’t wait for you to hear this one.
