Originally from Sri Lanka, Gaya shares her journey moving to the U.S. for education, starting with just two suitcases and working on campus. After graduating and working in the business industry for a decade, she quit to start her own skincare company in 2017. Inspired by her roots in Sri Lanka, Gaya uses natural ingredients commonly found in Ayurvedic medicine for her products. She talks about the importance of consistency in seeing results. Gaya also discusses the challenges she faced in securing funding and how it led her to start Kaliya Cares, a microloan program that funds female-owned businesses worldwide. Despite hardships she faced, Gaya's dedication towards providing a natural, result-oriented skin care range continues to make an impact in the lives of her customers.
