  • Interview with Dan DeLuca—"A Town Called Purgatory"

    Dan DeLuca is an actor, writer, and filmmaker in the DC Metro Area. He is best known for portraying Dr. David Parenti in Season 4 of HBO’s The Wire, opposite Robert Wisdom’s “Bunny” Colvin. Dan Trained at New York’s Herbert Berghof Studio—and has a master’s degree in business from Southeast Missouri State University—DeLuca has built a career that spans both in front of and behind the camera. His credits include HBO’s Veep and House of Cards, along with feature work such as Rustin, Wonder Woman 1984, The Jester, Two-Minute Heist, Crazy Eights, and the family film Eco-Teens Save the World (which he co-directed and produced). A frequent collaborator with Wire Alum, actor and filmmaker Ken Arnold, he co-wrote and stars in the recently released horror Western A Town Called Purgatory. Dan is also a novelist with his first novel HAG, The Legend of Bloody Mary now in stores.
