    In the second episode of our 'in conversation' series Catherine Levin talks to Lucy Macleod who is a Group Commander with London Fire Brigade but is involved in many areas of fire and rescue activity.

    She shares how she finds time to not only look after the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham for her day job but also bring her wellbeing dog Blue to the Brigade to provide calm and relief from the trauma experienced by many on the front line. She talks about her work with national search and rescue organisations and what it's been like to win an award as most influential woman in fire.

    In the first episode of our 'in conversation' series Catherine Levin talks to Kathryn Stone, the most recent inspector to join His Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services.

    Kathryn has an impressive CV and is hugely qualified for this important role, telling Catherine that she has found the sector welcoming and one where she is entirely comfortable.

    She is not a former chief of police or fire but rather has a background that is deeply framed in the criminal justice space, with experience in supporting victims and heading up regulators.
