The season in winding down. Let's look at some ways that your faith can help you persevere through the end.

We're all experiencing judgement and scoring in the marching arts at this time of year, but what about in our everyday lives?What does our interaction with our teammates, staff, parents, friends, and co-workers say about us? About our Faith?

Are you using your gifts for the right purposes? You're a gifted performer, but what can you do with that and who or what are you really doing it for?

Who is your ultimate authority? Who sets your boundaries? Who are you trying to live up to? Is it something outside of yourself or are you serving you?

Explore servant leadership through both Biblical principles and drum corps roles. Discuss how section leaders balance authority with servanthood, helping rookies, taking the last shower spot, or helping load equipment after everyone is tired.

Discuss the paradox of feeling alone despite living with 150+ corps members 24/7. Compare this to how God is with us even when we feel isolated, just as the corps moves as one unit despite individual struggles.

Here are some tips on how to react in the face of an authority figure, teacher, section leader etc., who is asking you to do something you don't agree with. We focus on how YOU are perceived in that situation and what the Bible says about it.
