• What is Light teaching us about God?
    Dec 18 2025

In this episode, Roger Price continues to explore the fascinating dual nature of light, explaining how it sometimes behaves like a wave and other times like a particle. Through a discussion of wave interference patterns and the famous double-slit experiment, Roger draws parallels between these scientific phenomena and the paradoxes encountered in the Bible.

He explores how light exhibiting two behaviors simultaneously mirrors the dualities found in biblical teachings, such as the concept of Jesus being both with God and being God. Roger encourages listeners, especially those in their twenties, to engage with these profound ideas that intertwine science and faith. He also teases a future podcast that will examine how light's behavior changes based on our observation.

  • Understanding relativity, and the omnipresence of light...and God.
    Nov 11 2025

To light, time has no meaning. Einstein's theory of relativity proves that time is not constant, and for light time has no meaning at all.

Light is truly mysterious. It's omnipresent in a way that only God claims to be. And if you believe this science, and you can't prove it, that's a kind of faith.

In this episode of Faith & Physics Uncovered, Rodger Price looks at the unique properties of light and how our experience of time as a constant breaks down when we consider the speed of light.

If you've heard about Einstein's theory of relativity, but want to dive a bit deeper and make connections to both faith and the claims of the God of the Bible, this episode is for you, but it's going to get strange.

  • What do we mean by faith? And how big is the universe?
    Oct 14 2025

What is faith? Not a Sunday school pat answer, but what is it really?

"Faith is a belief in anything you can't prove." And so at some level, we're all people of faith.

In this episode Rodger Price explores the nature of faith, distinguishing belief in God, from believing God. And we also explore the vastness of the universe, and the infinitesimal smallness of the subatomic. Could all this vastness have happened by chance? And if the universe is mostly empty space, what is it that holds matter together at all? Astrophysics, classical physics, and quantum physics all converge in our exploration of faith.

  • Introducing Faith and Physics Uncovered
    Oct 7 2025

Light is way more bizarre than you think.

Reality isn't quite as real as you may believe.

And miracles? Maybe they don't break the laws of reality as we know them.

Welcome to the Faith and Physics Uncovered podcast. Over the next 8 episodes we'll unpack my book Faith and Physics Uncovered with the goal of helping you to look at your faith in new ways, and ultimately to place your trust in the only One worthy of it. • Welcome to Faith and Physics Uncovered
    Jul 29 2025

From the most devoted saint to the most hardened atheist, we all have faith. We believe in things we can't actually prove, and so it's a not question of whether we'll have faith, but in who or what will we have faith.

Who or what will give you a vision of reality upon which to base your life?

Welcome to the Faith and Physics Uncovered podcast. This is the place to grapple with with the meaning of faith, and to do so through the lens of cutting edge physics.

Rodger Price is a "recovering" engineer, an expert non-expert who's life was turned upside down by the exploration of quantum physics in his mid thirties. In this podcast he'll take us on a journey that goes from the farthest reaches of the known universe to the infinitesimally small world of the sub-atomic. The podcast will trace the same outline as his book, Faith and Physics Uncovered, and will explore the experiments and breakthroughs that revolutionized physics in the 19th and 20th centuries, and ultimately led Rodger to faith in the God of the Bible.

The science gets absolutely wild, but stick with it. Like Rodger, your life may be changed in the process as you grapple with the nature of reality and faith at the deepest levels. We hope you'll join us this fall as we drop episodes each month.

In the meantime, feel free to visit rodger-price.com to learn more about Rodger and his work, or drop Rodger a comment or question for inclusion on the podcast.
