The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) comes into effect on the 25th of May, 2018. For not complying, the fees are up to 20 million Euro. This is why Peter goes through the regulations that effect Blockchain and how you can become compliant (probably). No legal advice, but good old speculation will give you an overview of what GDPR is and what to look out for.

Peter talks through the current state of privacy on the Bitcoin blockchain and presents different methods of increasing said privacy. Topics include CoinJoin, Mixers, TumbleBit, Confidential Transactions and Schnorr Signatures.

Peter talks about different types of wallets and their security. The underlying technology of hierarchical deterministic (HD) wallets is discussed as well as Full Node and Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) wallets.

Peter discussed the hot topic of how to scale the Blockchain. He talks about SegWit, Blocksize and the Lightning Network and explains how SegWit and Lightning work in detail.

In the second episode, Peter talks about the Proof of Work and Proof of Stake consensus protocols. The importance of consensus protocols are explained and Peter goes into detail with PoW and PoS.
