This week we look at James' perspective on conflict. Conflict is something that we all encounter on a regular basis. James helps us to know what the source of conflict is, the dangers of unhealthy conflict, and how to navigate conflict when it comes.

Today we look at James 3:12-18 and the differences between human wisdom and Godly wisdom. There is no denying how attractive the promises of human wisdom are, but there is also no denying the harm it causes.

This time, on Episodes of Grace, we look at the tongue and the words we use. Words are a powerful force. Words have started wars and yet ended them also. Words led nations to genocide and offered safety to the oppressed. Words inspire, instruct, and encourage. Words can belittle, demean, and put down. Words can convey our deepest emotions of love and joy anger and hatred. Words are powerful, which is why we must take great care in how we use them.

Welcome back to Episodes of Grace. I'm back from a holiday hiatus with new software and a new episode on Works. What does James mean by "without works faith is dead?" Why do some not like this letter, and how do we experience salvation? We look at these questions and more.

This week on Epsidoes of Grace we look at favoritism.

Today we look at James 1:19-27. We will look at the role of anger in our lives, and how it can shape or determine our behavior. We will also look at what it means to be not only hearers of the Word but doers also.

In this episode we look at James 1:13-18 and what he calls cravings. Where do they come from? What do they look like, why are they dangerous, and how do we escape them?
