Many of us might be afraid of dying, but is death really something to be feared? It seems death is portrayed differently in Islamic teachings. 67:1 and 67:2 tell us that death is, like life, a creation of a Blessed God. The death of the wrongdoer and the disbeliever is solace and relief for the others. It would also stop them adding to their sins. As for the believer, death is the beginning of comfort and freedom.
