Über diesen Titel
In this episode, co-hosts Sandra and Karen wrap up our deep dive into the themes of idolatry, division, the spirit of offense, and false prophets. Over the past two episodes, we've unpacked how these forces are subtly at work in our lives and ministries causing division.
We explore the topic of witchcraft from a biblical perspective. Our discussion begins with a careful examination of the term “witchcraft” as defined in Strong's Concordance (7081) and the scriptures that illuminate its meaning.
In this episode, used in **Exodus 22:18** (“Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live”) and **Jeremiah 14:14**, where false prophets and diviners lead the people astray. We then transition into **Acts 20:28-30**, where the Apostle Paul gives a stern warning to the early church about the dangers of false teachers who might lead believers into occult practices under the guise of truth. We also shift focus to the **consequences of engaging in witchcraft** as outlined in scripture. We look closely at **Micah 5:8-15**, where the prophet warns of the destructive consequences of relying on witchcraft and idolatry instead of seeking God.
Finally, we examine the **warning in Revelation 22:1-21**, where witchcraft is listed among the sins that exclude individuals from the Kingdom of God.
Sandra and Karen bring it all together, offering a final recap and tying together the key lessons we've learned.
