It's time for Josie and Becca to wade into the most infamous New X-Men issue of all: Dust, 2002's post-9/11 Islamophobia whirlwind tour. So yeah, first of all, check the content warnings for this one. But secondly, and more excitingly, the girls are joined by Doc, a friend of Becca's from her Fantastic 4 blogging days. Doc is a Palestinian hijabi with a literal doctorate in medicine and a figurative doctorate in Dr. Doom, and she comes prepared with thoughts about what Dust says about the world after 2001. And she also has a bone to pick with Grant Morrison. But don't worry, there's also an exciting reveal about whether Dr. Doom is transphobic, so it all works out in the end, I guess.
