Louis is the Sr. Director of Membership and Partnerships for the REFORM Alliance and has years of experience in government, criminal justice expertise, policy advocacy, public health, as well as personal impact, as he served nearly 14 years in federal prison and several years on supervision. During this episode, we talk about what prison reform is, the way imprisonment disproportionately affects those loving in poverty, and the Black and Brown communities, and alternatives to imprisonment that should be considered.
