This week we talk about the 1996 film The First Wives Club. Directed by Hugh Wilson and written by Robert Harling based on the book by Olivia Goldsmith, starring Bette Midler, Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton and a whole lot more. The film follows 3 women who have all been left by their husbands for younger women, the women are brought back together when their college friend who was in the same situation sends them a goodbye letter.
We talk through the plot and the amazing one-liners in this comedy masterpiece with a lot of heart. Kym Fanboys over Victor Garbor while Soph fangirls over the whole film! This is an episode all about female empowerment and bitchy comments what more could you ask for?
