Steve Ralph was in his mid-twenties, working in a job he loved and travelling with his friends when a misjudged jump into a swimming pool saw him become a quadriplegic. What came next was months of hospitalisation and a whole lot of adjusting to the challenges and triumphs of life with an acquired disability.
In this series, Steve chats with people who, like him, are living well after a spinal cord injury. They delve deep into experiences of rehab, support, relationships and perspective shifts – and quash a lot of common misconceptions around disability.
