I started my very first side hustle in my very first year of teaching. I started giving private piano and voice lessons. As a new teacher, I was barely making enough to get by on my first year teacher's salary, so the supplemental income I earned from giving piano and voice lessons was life changing. In this video, I share my experiences with giving private lessons, including how I marketed my services (I didn't), my pricing strategy, and what I would do differently if I gave private lessons today. I also share how to apply my experiences and lessens learned into other kinds of tutoring or private lessons.
