    In this episode, I speak with Middle-school band teacher Don Scott about inspiring young people to love music and coaching the next generation of leaders.

    Mr. Scott is a proud graduate of Bethune Cookman University where he played the trumpet in their famed marching band. He has taught band in middle and high school for 13 years.

    In addition to teaching, he also performs with a band and is sometimes invited to play professionally with famous musicians and singers.

    He is married to his beautiful wife Takiyah, and they have a baby boy, Don Jr.
