जन्मतः अंध असलेल्या सागरला बालपणी केलेल्या शस्त्रक्रियांमुळे २५% दृष्टी प्राप्त झाली . आपल्या अंधत्वाचा बाउ न करता त्यालाच आपले शक्तिस्थान बनवून मार्गक्रमण केले . बुद्धीबळ , पोहणे , धावणे , सायकलिंग , गिरिभ्रमण आणि गिर्यारोहण अशा आव्हानात्मक क्रीडा प्रकारात प्राविण्य मिळवले .

काश्मीर ते कन्याकुमारी ही सायकल स्पर्धा कमीत कमी वेळात पूर्ण करून एक कीर्तीमान स्थापन केले .

Born blind, Sagar underwent childhood surgeries that restored 25% of his vision. Rather than accepting his blindness as a limitation, he transformed it into his driving force.
