Über diesen Titel
Black women are three to four times more likely to die of birth-related causes than white women. How did we get here, and what’s being done to address the underlying issues?
In this episode–a continuation of Disparities in the Delivery Room part one, Demystifying Doulas–we’ll be joined by Joyce Abeng, MPH, who provides her expertise in the field of health policy and administration. Joyce will be helping us unpack how we got to this state of extreme dysfunction and how systemic racism affects the U.S. birthing system today.
