• RANT - Choke on Your Pokéballs
    Apr 11 2025

Some of you are selling Pokémon cards and retro toys to queer, disabled, neurodivergent collectors by day, and posting pro-Pierre Poilievre memes by night. And I have questions.

In this debut RANT, I’m coming for the straight white conservative men profiting off the very communities their votes harm. Because you don’t get to smile at trans teens buying plushies and then turn around and support policies that erase their rights. You don’t get to collect queer dollars while calling compassion “woke.” You don’t get to be in their spaces if you’re voting to burn them down.

I own a toy store. I know this community. And I’m not letting this hypocrisy slide.

This one’s for the traitors in our fandoms—hope you’re hungry, because today, you're choking on your own Pokéballs.

SNAP ELECTION ALERT: What You Really Need to Know Before April 28 🇨🇦

Canada is heading into a snap federal election, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. In this short but sharp episode, Britt breaks down how the hell we got here, why strategic voting matters now more than ever, and why Pierre Poilievre is NOT the everyman he pretends to be. We’ll also take a look at which Canadian news sources are actually reliable, who’s pushing the spin, and how to fact-check like your democracy depends on it. (Because it does.)

It's a quick and dirty overview of what matters—no fluff, no spin, just facts and fire.

Want a deeper dive on anything we covered? Drop a comment or email dinnerpartymassacrepod@gmail.com—I’m happy to do a follow-up episode.

  • A Letter to Albertan Family Members
    Mar 26 2025

We don’t always lose people to death. Sometimes, we lose them to fear, misinformation, and resentment. Dear Albertan Family Members is a letter to those I used to be close with, the ones I can’t reach anymore. I miss them, but I won’t chase ghosts. #Family #Politics #Loss

  • THINK: Why Do We Keep Falling for Hoaxes & Moral Panics?
    Mar 19 2025

For the first time ever, it’s just me, Britt, no Sonya, no backup, just me talking straight to you.

This episode is short and sweet and a little bit of a test run. Can I hold my own solo, or do I just need someone to interrupt? 😏

Come with me on a little journey into mass hysteria, hoaxes, and why people keep falling for absolute nonsense. and I want to know what you think! Do you like me solo? Should I do more of these?

  • GUEST: So, My Stepdad Went to Jail...
    Mar 11 2025

CONTENT WARNING: This episode contains discussions of childhood abuse, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, religious manipulation, teenage pregnancy, abortion, miscarriage, childbirth via C-section, suicidal thoughts, and references to suicide threats. While no suicides are discussed, these topics are intense and deeply personal—please listen with care.

For this episode, Sonya sat this one out—this is just me, Britt, as we wanted to create space for our guest to share her story in her own words, at her own pace.

She survived years of abuse at the hands of her stepfather, became pregnant at 15, and was let down by the very systems that should have protected her. This is not just a story about trauma—it’s about survival, resilience, and the reality that too many people face in silence.

If this conversation becomes overwhelming, step away if you need to. And if you or someone you know is in need of support, resources are listed at the bottom of this description.

  • FAMILY: Some Regrets Wear Diapers
    Mar 4 2025

Nobody ever asks parents if they regret having kids—but they should.

In this episode, we dig into parental regret, the taboo of admitting it, and the double standard that makes it perfectly normal to ask childfree people if they’ll regret not having kids, but outrageous to ask struggling parents if they regret having them.

We read real posts from parents who wish they’d made a different choice, break down societal pressure and postpartum regret, and ask: why are we forced to celebrate every birth, no matter how bad the circumstances?

  • POLITICS: Pierre Poilievre is an Embarrassing Man-Child
    Feb 25 2025

This week, we take aim at Canada’s cringiest conservative: Pierre Poilievre. From Trump-lite talking points to denying trans identities, his entire strategy seems to be blame liberals, offer nothing.

We also dig into Trudeau’s handling of COVID-19, vaccine passports, and how Canada’s response compared to the rest of the world.

Plus, our game "Pierre or Parody?"—because yes, his real quotes are somehow worse than satire.

  • RELATIONSHIPS: Too Young or Just a Number?
    Feb 18 2025

When does an age gap go from hot older partner to grooming red flag? In this episode, we stir the pot on dating age gaps—what’s weird, what’s wrong, and what’s just plain illegal.

    • Aaron Taylor-Johnson and his “mother—I mean, wife.” Is their marriage fine now, or was it always sus?
    • A TikTok guy swears it’s not creepy to prefer dating 18- and 19-year-olds. We have thoughts.
    • High school dating rules: If your grades don’t touch, should you?
    • The classic “half your age plus seven” rule—legit or just a way for old dudes to justify dating barely legal women?

We’re not here to be polite—we’re here to ask the awkward (and hilarious) questions about age-gap relationships. So, where’s the line? Let’s talk about it.
