    Ella Langley hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Choosin’ Texas,” her first chart-topper and the first by a woman to simultaneously lead the Hot 100, Hot Country Songs, and Country Airplay charts. The Miranda Lambert collaboration previews Langley’s upcoming album Dandelion.


    Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show triggered a massive streaming spike, with Spotify streams up 470% in the U.S. and 210% globally. Guests Ricky Martin and Lady Gaga also saw boosts, including a 145% jump for Martin.


    The Ex-Faces, featuring former Mushroomhead members, expanded to seven with bassist Jack “Pig Benis” Kilcoyne, bringing both Kilcoyne brothers into the lineup and creating a near-complete classic-era reunion. Founder Jeff Hatrix says he will not join the project.


    Chappell Roan has exited Wasserman Agency after reports linking founder Casey Wasserman to Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Roan cited accountability and personal standards, following similar criticism from other artists.

    Paul Simon, Mary J. Blige, Elvis Costello, and Hozier will headline the 10th annual Love Rocks NYC benefit concert on March 5 at the Beacon Theatre, supporting God’s Love We Deliver and its work with people living with AIDS.


    Brad Arnold, founding vocalist of 3 Doors Down and co-writer of their breakout hit “Kryptonite,” has died at 47 after a battle with cancer. He continued performing with the band until his health declined.


    Greg Brown, founding guitarist of Cake and co-writer of “The Distance,” has died following a brief illness. Brown helped shape the band’s early sound on their first two albums before leaving in 1997.


    A lost 1980 rehearsal tape featuring Ozzy Osbourne, Randy Rhoads, and Bob Daisley has surfaced, capturing a 12-minute blues-rock jam recorded before Blizzard of Ozz. The tape offers a rare glimpse into their early chemistry.


    Bad Bunny became the first Latin artist to headline a Super Bowl halftime show primarily in Spanish, celebrating Puerto Rican culture with a high-energy set and guest appearances by Lady Gaga and Ricky Martin.
