Are you quietly suiting up on the field of sin while telling yourself you’re just “struggling,” or are you stepping onto the field of righteousness—even if you strike out a thousand times—because you belong to Jesus?

This devotional from Pastor Brian Noble unpacks Romans 7 and 1 John 3 to distinguish between practicing sin and struggling against it as a born-again believer. Using the image of a baseball field, it asks which “field” you keep showing up to: the field of sin, or the field of righteousness.​
