• SHORTIE! "How do you take your coffee?"
    Aug 1 2026

Sometimes our PRUducer just can't get enough of our witty insights so she tosses a random question our way. This week she wants to know how we take our coffee. We definitely like our caffeine and have some very strong opinions about what makes a good cup of coffee. Now you'll know what each of us would like when you see us in the coffee shop and want to treat us to a cup to thank us for hosting your favorite podcast. This is a quick episode. It will be over before you can wipe the cappuccino foam off your upper lip.

  • Murder by Numbers: Get lost, crunch some stats, and park it
    Jul 25 2026

"Not all those who wander are lost" is a great way to describe most of our conversations. We meander all over the place but eventually bring it all home. Some of our stories about actually getting lost are a little harrowing (we're lucky Ween is still with us), and some are just plain boring (cough...Jax...cough).

We tend to get a little cranky when we talk about "kids these days" so we thought we'd throw some accolades at the technology, innovations, and pop culture from Modern Times (the last ten years). Believe it or not, these youngsters know what they're doing! How's that for some serious glazing??

They say numbers don't lie, so we get real with some statistics and data that are shocking, stunning, and fantastic. Of all the topics we've covered, this is the one that sounds the most like a bunch of old dads sitting around discussing mortgages and voting statistics. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Have you heard any numbers lately that surprised or impressed you? Drop us an email at CNXMorePod@gmail.com or comment on Spotify, Facebook or Instagram.

In honor of our nation's 250th birthday, we whip around on the most American of all topics: parking. Why are those goddam spots so narrow, and who's going to do something about it? We have seen paradise, and it looks a lot like Costco.

  • SHORTIE! "You can only drink one pop for the rest of your life. Stake your claim!"
    Jul 18 2026

Buckle up, kids. Our PRUducer asks us about our favorite pop, and the boys have a LOT of opinions! Diet Dew gets a ton of love, but we go all over the place from Nesbitt's Strawberry to Jones Blue Cream Soda. Liquid Death's Dead Billionaire even gets a shout-out (even though it's not really pop). And now I want to go to Spring Grove MN just to try the pop. Thanks, Ween. This is a shortie, so it will be over long before your Diet Dr. Pepper goes flat.

  • Who makes your blood boil? Celebs we love to hate (hate to love?)
    Jul 11 2026

Like all patriotic Americans, we know that the only proper way to celebrate the achievements of our great nation is to blow crap up with fireworks. Our tales of fire, scary explosions, PTSD, and close calls are the true story of our country.

We got a very thought-provoking Listener Mail voice memo from Emily asking about our celebrity nemeses. Who makes our blood boil every time they show up on the screen? Emily hates that Neal McDonough guy, and we go all over the map with our picks, from '80s movie villains to corporate boardrooms.

Next we browse the freezer section to discuss the subtle nuances and culinary delights of frozen pizza. Our childhood journeys all started off with Tombstone, of course, but where does it go from there? And doesn't Ween seem like the kind of guy who doesn't eat his crust? Nope - he eats them. Learn something new every day.

For the whiparound we revisit a topic we just can't quit: fake band names! It's a fan-favorite and CNXMore classic. Keep on rocking, Connectors!

  • SHORTIE! Bad dates, bad experiences...just bad.
    Jul 4 2026

We lead pretty charmed lives, but we all have a bad day every once in a while, right? We tried to talk about some of our bad experiences, but turns out we're bad at talking about bad stuff. Starting to get the hint? Don't worry. This is a shortie so it will be over before you have to get up and flip the 45 over onto Side B. Let's roll!

  • Get Sloshed: Waterbeds, late-to-the game band appreciation, ear worms, and summer plans
    Jun 27 2026

Are you ready for the summer? The Connect More crew sure is! Concerts, baseball, and unpacking boxes are all in the works, but be sure you don't miss the excitement of a high-adventure camping trip in Oklahoma! You heard me. Oklahoma. Who doesn't love a good sand candle, amirite?

In this age of streaming, with every song ever made instantly at our fingertips, what bands are we just now discovering or appreciating? Who didn't we fully appreciate "back in the day?" On the flip side...are there any bands that we LOVED as kids that are now a bit cringe?

Hey, kids: Did you know that waterbeds were once a thing? That's right. In the '70s - '80s millions of people were bamboozled into thinking they'd get a good night's sleep on a giant, heavy, sloshing sack of water that needed special sheets, a massive frame, and its own heater. Whether we had one ourselves, or we inherited it from a girlfriend (or soon-to-be ex-girlfriend), we would all sleep better if this whole trend had never happened.

We finally squeeze in a good ol' fashioned whiparound by discussing our latest ear worm (or ear wig?) You know, those songs that get stuck in your head and YOU JUST CAN'T MAKE IT STOP!!! No, it's not Don Johnson's "Heartbeat" but close. Be sure to check out our "CNXMore most hated/loved ear worms" playlist on Spotify (if you dare)!

  • (not so) SHORTIE! What's the opposite of "meet-cute"? Because that's how we all met.
    Jun 20 2026

For this (not so) shortie episode we got a Listener Mail voice memo from Amanda (who needs to contribute to the swear jar BTW). She asked for the story behind how we all met and became best buddies. How did we crack the code and figure out how friends can stay connected over distance and time? It was a blast reminiscing about the early days of our friendship and hopefully we can provide some inspiration for you all to re-connect with old friends. We can even help you plan a Spritzer Party if that will get your gang back together! This episode is a bit longer, so it won't be over until Ween catches John in the world's slowest game of freeze tag.

  • New Hope or No Hope? OG Star Wars fans discuss the future of the franchise
    Jun 13 2026

After the tone, we leave some messages about how voicemail fits into our day-to-day communications. Spoiler alert: We hate it. Don't leave your name and number. Just send a text. We've been pushed to the edge, cocked and ready. 😏

We were eight years old when Star Wars premiered in 1977, the perfect age to become super-fans for life. The toys, the t-shirts, the posters, the branded school supplies - we were in for it ALL. But how are we feeling about the franchise after almost 50 years? "The Mandalorian & Grogu" dropped a few weeks ago. Is Star Wars in good hands? We wax nostalgic about our favorite moments and lament some of the missteps. It's been such a huge part of our lives that we probably could have talked about this for two hours. But we didn't.

Most dudes we know are creatures of habit. We put our keys and wallet in the same place every day. We order the same things at restaurants. We wear basically the same outfit all the time. Are we keeping life simple and minimizing the choices we need to make every day... or are we just boring? Maybe a little bit of both?

Summer is here, so it's time for baseball and fairs! We whip around with the best choices for festival and ballpark foods. Grab some Rolaids and join the fun!
