Über diesen Titel

When Dr. Neel was walking around, pondering the challenges that seem to be running rampant in our era - feeding issues with infants, airway issues with kids and adults, and tension in seemingly everyone's nervous systems and bodies, he uttered aloud the question, "How are we going to help everyone go from a compromised airway to an alchemized airway?" And once he said that aloud, his wife suggested omitting the word "airway" to broaden the phrase, and it resonated. It's the homage to Paulo Coelho's brilliant book, The Alchemist, that of alchemy, that seems fitting in characterizing this journey many families seem to find themselves on. It's a rigorous process at times to access healing and a non-linear one. This lead-turning-into-gold process can be daunting, and it takes a village. On this podcast, Dr. Neel carries engaging conversations with healers who have guided others through challenging moments - ones that can hold the paradoxical tension of pain and joy all at once. In the 1st season, Dr. Neel focused on interviewing experts in the fields of birth psychology and embodied embryology, and in the 2nd season, he focuses on those who journey with families from birth onward.Copyright 2026 Dr. Neel Bulchandani Alternative & Komplementäre Medizin Hygiene & gesundes Leben

Welcome back to the Compromised to Alchemized podcast. This conversation is a rare and deep dive into the lifework of Michael Shea, Ph.D., a legendary figure in the worlds of biodynamic craniosacral therapy, somatic psychology, and embryology. Moving from the sandy soil of South Florida mango groves to the subtle body visualizations of Tibetan medicine, Michael explores how the ancient and the contemporary meet in the human heart. He shares profound insights into biodynamic cardiovascular therapy, the importance of metabolic health and how his spiritual path as a Buddhist practitioner informed his work with infants and trauma. The conversation shifts from the physical anatomy of the heart to its deep spiritual and metabolic significance. Michael shares a vulnerable look at his own path—from a struggling student and second-generation Rolfer to a formal student of the Dalai Lama.

Michael Shea defines the Alchemy of Healing. He breaks down his Top Three framework for moving a client from a state of compromise to a state of joy. We dive deep into the Vascular Tree as the spiritual Tree of Life, the critical role of the thyroid in infant metabolism, and Michael’s moving revelation that the children he treated were actually the ones who healed his own soul.

  • The Geometry of Being: From Nomadic Roots to the Intuitive Age with Harvey Martin
    Jan 21 2026

In this expansive dialogue, I sit down with "Cowboy-Hippie-Philosopher" Harvey Martin. This conversation is a deep-map of a life lived at the intersection of high-performance athletics and mystical contemplation.

From Harvey’s nomadic childhood in Michigan—moving over 50 times—to his front-row seat at the data revolution in Major League Baseball, this episode explores the invisible patterns (the geometry) that curate our consciousness. Harvey discusses his recent professional sabbatical, the ego death of stepping away from a successful business, and why the future of humanity lies not in more data, but in Heart Coherence and the Intuitive Age.

    🕒 Chapter Timestamps

0:00 | Introduction and how we met

13:10 | How living in 50+ homes destroyed Harvey's attachment to place and turned him into a chameleon—someone capable of integrating into any culture with authenticity.

30:50 | Why your environment is the key to the pursuit of the slow down and why convenience is the enemy of the spirit.

41:50 | The Soul of the Sauna and how to change your awareness and consciousness.

60:20 | Why breathing is the unconscious environment we must make conscious.

1:06:32 | How shapes influence everything and how Harvey used sacred geometry during his sabbatical to map out the human ego and the breaking of illusions.

1:16:21 | Mapping the body through geometry. The heart serves as the center point between our three physical bodies (root, sacral, solar plexus) and our three mental bodies (throat, third eye, crown).

1:40:21 | Harvey reflects on his time in the MLB, witnessing how an over-reliance on data can cause elite performers to lose their subjective abstract self.

1:50:36 | Why the billion-dollar youth sports industry is incapable of teaching mastery because it relies on scripts rather than uniqueness and why a true teacher doesn't provide answers but holds space for the student to explore their own uniqueness.

1:58:21 | Harvey posits that wisdom can only be reached through abstract contemplation—something AI cannot replicate.

2:04:31 | Someone that has inspired Harvey by living their personal legend

2:11:55 | Harvey recounts a 10-year journey of trying to change the medical system for his father, only to realize the most courageous act is simply being oneself.

2:20:13 | Harvey's personal legend and how he knows he is on track

Harvey Martin is an entrepreneur and coach for high performers such as professional athletes, musicians, and entrepreneurs.

In 2012, he began teaching courses related to health and fitness at Minnesota State University, Mankato, where he received his master’s degree. His services included consulting college athletic programs around the country, for instance, Ohio State and Oregon State University, in mental skills and organizational behavior. During this time, he spent eight seasons in the Milwaukee Brewers organization as a player and scout for both professional and amateur players.

In 2020, his services expanded to organizations like the Carolina Hurricanes, Seattle Mariners, and San Francisco Giants. He began facilitating sessions with USA Olympic teams, NFL groups such as the Houston Texans and Pittsburgh Steelers. His work stretched to major bands like Rufus Du Sol and in 2025, he was the Performance Coach on the Upside Down Tour with the artist Mike Seander "Mike.”.

During three Major League Baseball Seasons (2022-2024), Harvey was the Major League Human Performance Coach for the San Francisco Giants, where he oversaw the team's recovery systems and mental skills programming. Individually, he has...
