 This is a true story series that shares the personal details of one person named Cindy Deering. Cindy is a mother of two and now lives in Chattanooga, TN. Now that her children are grown and on their own, she has started to reflect on her life and process the hardships and abuse of her childhood that she ran away from for so long. Cindy starts at the beginning from small details she can remember and the trauma of the abusive situation she grew up in. Her mother provided an unstable home life, full of deep wounds. As Cindy relives different chapters of her life she starts to work through the past to reveal to herself how she actually survived each overwhelming event in her life. We all have our own journey of failure, faith, hope, despair, strength, guilt, and rising from the ashes.
