Then capitalism entered the chat.

A casual $111 BILLION bid reportedly has Paramount Pictures (Skydance backing) beating Netflix in the Warner Bros. asset war. Meaning they’d control DC properties like Batman and Superman. Translation: if we don’t get faster sequels now, we riot (peacefully).

Corporate paranoia didn’t stop there. Burger King is testing an AI named “Patty” that listens to employees through headsets to see if they’re smiling hard enough. We’ve officially entered “the fry machine is snitching on you” territory. Innovation or dystopia? You decide.

Sports came through to humble us.
