Hey guys on today’s show I had the pleasure of speaking with Carlos Yoneliunas all about starting and scaling a successful Short term rental business.

Carlos first STR was driven by the desire to help his mom.

She owned a condo that wasn’t cash flowing and it was underwater each month.

By turning it into a STR they were able to more then double the monthly rents

from $1200 per month to $2500-3000 per month

Analyzing a larger property vs smaller one.

How to estimate cost for furniture.

How to find furniture on the cheap and what type of furniture improves appeal for renters.

Carlos is also the Airbnb community leader for Edmonton and northern Alberta
