Brit Barron is a Los Angeles-based comedian, author, and storyteller. A former megachurch pastor whose coming out journey might have led to a life disconnected from anything resembling church, she has instead forged a path that includes new expressions of faith alongside creative explorations of religious experience. Her most current work is a one-woman show that blends sharp stand-up, theatrical storytelling and live gospel music. Equal parts revival and irreverence, this hilarious and heartfelt exploration of faith, queerness, race and religious trauma has been a sold-out hit in LA, and she’ll be performing it in a residency at the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland later this year.
