  • Sex After Birth ft. Jennifer Kish
    Jun 24 2021

Sex after birth? AS IF!! This topic actually haunted me after giving birth. Not only physically, but emotionally how I was going to feel jumping in the sack again. In this episode, I chat with my long-time friend and Sexpert (that should be a real word) Jennifer Kish who is a VITA certified Sex, Love, and Relationship coach specializing in Female Sexuality and Dating. This episode isn't just about boinking after pushing a baby out, but it's for anyone who wants to create a deeper connection with your body, identify what's getting in the way of you having the sex of your dreams, and kickstart your love life if you're single. • Detox Your Home ft. Christine Dimmick
    Jun 10 2021

Before wellness and detoxing became buzzwords that are thrown around by companies 24/7, believe it or not, there was a time when the general public didn't even think about looking at labels or questioning what products they were using to clean their homes. In this episode, Christine Dimmick Founder/CEO of The Good Home Company Inc., author of Detox your Home, and a public advocate for health and wellness shares her insane story on how she started her business (and also almost got bought by Clorox!) and now is on the parenting journey of teenagers who just want to do the opposite of what you tell them (that was me. Sorry Mom.). Christine is a highly regarded speaker, sharing her mission to bring health and wellness to all, and also has a podcast called Be The Change where she speaks with people not getting the spotlight, but should and who are really changing the paradigm/construct and fighting on our behalf. She and Good Home products have been featured in Real Simple, O Magazine, InStyle, Dr. Oz, House Beautiful. She has lectured at notable places such as the United Nations in New York City and Geneva, The Assemblage, Canyon Ranch and A+E Networks. She is also HILARIOUS. Let's get her a stand-up comedy gig on Netflix.

  • Unpredicted Rare Disease Pregnancy and Birth ft. Linda Bui
    May 27 2021

One of the many things I wish I would have reminded myself while pregnant is that you can't plan for everything, especially how you birth your child. That baby has its own plan and we are just here to make it happen! On today's episode, I got to hear someone else's birth story that made my birth story sound like a throwback Mariah Carey song (you know what I'm talking about..just rainbows and butterflies. C'mon people.). Linda Bui, who to me is one of the chicest, most creative, and fellow Type A planner like Moi, talks through how she didn't have an easy pregnancy and during labor finds out she has AFLP a rare, potentially fatal complication that occurs in the third trimester that even had rare disease doctors at a top NYC hospital stumped. We also ramble on about a few other topics such as, how to tell your Mom to stop be annoying when they are dishing out too much advice.
