    Maurizia Bellomo has dipped into many different parts of the art world ocean. From graphic design and children's illustration to fine art and art therapy, this Italian artist has explored all kinds of avenues.

    In this episode of the Art on the Blockchain podcast, Rachel talks about several problems Open Art Source is addressing, and then we get a chance to hear from Mau.

    If you've ever thought about exploring art therapy or book illustrating, you won't want to miss her advice.

    Maurizia studied Illustration and Multimedia Animation at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Milan. Her first work experiences took her to Ethiopia (Addis Ababa) where she worked as a graphic designer. Her first publication was "Vertical Ethiopia" published by Shama books. Later she went to Brazil (Salvador de Bahia) working as a book designer at a Cultural Institute (Casa via Magia). Subsequently, the love for illustration and of childhood led her to develop creative workshops for children in France. She currently resides in Italy where she is studying Art Therapy in Florence.

    Crypto journalist András Györfi has an exciting new project in the works: a statue of Satoshi Nakamoto that will be erected in Budapest's Graphisoft Park. The sculptors of the bronze bust, Tamás Gilly and Réka Gergely, recently revealed their design, and the unveiling is slated for early September.

    The design is a tall order. Keep in mind that nobody knows who Nakamoto is. In this podcast episode, Györfi talks about the collaboration making the project possible. András and Rachel also talk about how blockchain is changing industries and empowering everyday people.

    Artist Justin Wheatley secured gallery representation right out of college and has worked with a number of galleries in the years since.

    Justin Wheatley was born and raised in Clinton, Utah. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Utah State University with an emphasis in drawing and painting, and a Masters of Arts from National University, with a specialization in National Board Leadership. His work is influenced by his love for nature and architecture. Justin currently resides in Salt Lake City with his wife and four daughters.

    Justin is represented by galleries across the west and has work in the collections of the Springville Museum of Art, Brigham Young University, Marriott International, Royal Caribbean, Salt Lake County, the University of Utah, the LDS Church, and Utah Arts and Museums.

    She became a full-time artist in 2018. Bindia has a technology and design background. She holds graduate degrees both in engineering and design.

    She has lived in America, Europe, Middle East and Asia. Just as her world travels have taken her to places that influenced her perceptions, her artwork can move each viewer uniquely.

    Her paintings have been shown in galleries in Las Vegas and New York.

    Currently, she resides in Henderson, Nevada, USA and is a member of the Las Vegas Artists Guild. Bindia contributes via her art often to humanitarian and environmental causes.
