There are numerous #prophecies in the Old Testament that speak of the #reunification of the tribes of the northern Kingdom of Israel with the tribes of the southern Kingdom of Judah under the reign of the Messiah. Under His rule, both will walk together in the ways of God. Throughout history, there has been much speculation about the identity of the so-called Lost Tribes—where they went, who they are today, and whether they will reappear in the last days. This sermon explores several of those theories. It also presents the case that the Apostle Paul draws upon Old Testament language associated with the Lost Tribes when describing Gentiles who come to faith in Messiah. Does this mean that Christians are the literal descendants of the Lost Tribes? No, it does not. However, it does point to a prophetic and spiritual connection—one that is deeply meaningful for believers today as they take their place as fellow branches grafted into the Jewish olive tree, as described in Romans 11.#romans #mitzvot #Jewish #shabbat #shalom #blowtheshofar #Shofarblast #MishkahnDavidRI #Tenakh #Bible #Torah #webelieve #BritChadasha #Godbreathed #wordofgod #inspired #messianicjudaism #messianic #christian #yeshua #faith #jesus #love #theway #biblicalmonth #biblicalcalendar #theway #thetruth #thelife #life #hope #love #birth #bornagain #moses #moshe #parshat #torahportion #Israel #losttribes #lsot #tribes #Israel
