For decades, Jehovah's Witnesses have held a prohibition on men having facial hair, more specifically beards. There has been a calling from some of the branch offices of Jehovah's Witnesses for clarification on whether or not men should be allowed to have beards in the organization. On December 15, the Governing Body finally gave this clarification. Is this what you were expecting?

I know I am a little behind the ball in getting caught up on this news. I am sure a lot of you already have heard about this new announcement but here is my take on reporting field ministry time.

I recently had a conversation with my Mom about no longer being a Jehovah's Witness. It ultimately led to the discussion of having limited contact to safeguard her heart against the possibility that I could lure her away from "the truth".
