Today, I’m honoring the story of Rachael — a gifted former actress and proud native of San Clemente — who courageously battled a severe form of Anorexia Nervosa for many years. After a long and painful fight, she passed on to be with the Lord.
In the wake of her loss, her husband Rod, alongside close friends and family, is turning heartbreak into purpose. They are developing a powerful initiative in Orange County, with hopes to expand into Los Angeles, to open treatment facilities dedicated to supporting those struggling with eating disorders and other addictions.
Rod is committed to carrying forward Rachael’s legacy — transforming her story into a mission that brings hope, healing, and real resources to those in need.
Today, I’ll be sharing a glimpse into this vision. Soon, Rod will join me for a full episode where he can speak more deeply about the initiative, how it’s unfolding, and how we can all help spread awareness and support this cause.
