India as country went into lockdown for the first time on 25th March 2020, On 2 April 2020, the Gov of india released the Aarogya Setu app to enable contact tracing in India. The app was jointly developed the government and various volunteers from the private sector and universities And today we have one of the volunteers who has contributed heavily to the Aarogya setu App, Niharika Arora. Niharika is a senior software engineer at 1mg, a regular speaker at various mobile app development conferences, and she has agreed to lend some time to us to shed light over the tech that went into building the Aarogya setu app.
