Effective from July 5, 2025 Palestine Action has been proscribed as a terrorist organization in the UK, making it illegal to support or be a member of the group. Since then there have been over 700 arrests related to demonstrations and public support including 60 individuals currently being prosecuted. Huda Ammori, co-founder of Palestine Action, has been granted permission by the High Court to challenge the Home Secretary’s decision to proscribe the group under anti-terrorism legislation. The full judicial review is scheduled for November 2025, expected to span three days.
