We had the opportunity to sit down and talk with the head principal of the new high school in Christian County that will be opening this fall. It's not small undertaking, but we serve a significantly bigger God. Ken hails from Muhlenberg County, has been in education for over 20 years, and serves his family. Easter was yesterday. I hope you really considered the resurrection of Jesus Christ and what that means for you. It should change everything. Now what? What happens now that the resurrection has occured? We need to be rooted in our faith so that when unexpected things happen (which are to be expected) we can rely on our creator, what he's coached us through with Jesus, and how we can influence others in it. Evan Ryan of Hopkinsville, KY is a worker for the Lord. He leads the minddle school ministry at New Work Fellowship and is involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes. If you don't know Evan personally, you've probably seen him. If you've been to any sporting events in the last couple of years in hoptown there's a good chance you've seen Evan there. He understands what it means to show up and he does it all the time. In this episode he says "Our ministry is only going to be as effective as the relationships we have." We couldn't agree more. It's crazy that this marks the 50th episode of the podcast! We've been blessed to have some wonderful conversations with some awesome people to talk about faith and how it's important in their lives. If we'd never said yes to having this podcast, it never would have happened! Saying yes to things can be difficult for several reasons. Maybe you're too busy, maybe you're afraid of what you're saying yes to, maybe you're comfortable where you find yourself and saying yes would mess that up. We get it. BUT saying yes to God centered things are still worth saying yes to. Maybe our time needs to be re-prioritized. Remember that we aren't given a spirit of fear. God didn't call us to be comfortable. Say yes to what God has put in front of you. You won't regret the change it will make in your life!

Tom has been in broadcasting since 1979; that's quite a bit of time to be able to talk, write, and interview folks and live as an example of Christ. He's a hard worker at Southside and a great encourager. We hope our conversation about influence and the platforms we all have help you Altar Your Algorithm!

Starting over can be difficult, but it can be necessary. Every day we sort of reset when we wake up and start our day. In doing so we can set the tone for how we are going to walk with Christ. Perhaps it's not a daily reset, but a full on factory reset, give your life to Christ, kind of transformation that needs to happen.
