The cause of Autism doesn't need to be determined, as it isn't the area for concern that needs to be focused on. Autism always has been and always will be about acceptance, and management. Many non-Autistic professionals make a generous living off attempting to understand Autism, further making the waters muddier than they were before. All the while...never discussing Autism with Autistic people.
