  • Building Confidence in a Digital World: Juliette Blake on Ethical Tech for Girls
    Jan 27 2026

If you’ve ever worried about how the digital world is shaping girls and wondered whether technology could actually build confidence instead of tearing it down… This conversation is for you.

In this episode of ABC To CEO: Preparing for the Possibility, Sharon Fiehler speaks with Juliette Blake, founder and CEO of Moxies - a digital platform designed to help girls thrive online while protecting their confidence, well-being, and sense of self.

Juliette describes how engagement-driven technology quietly erodes confidence, and what it takes to lead with clarity and conviction in an industry that often rewards the opposite.

This isn’t a conversation about apps. It’s a conversation about courage, responsibility, and the choices adults are making today that shape girls’ confidence.

At ABC To CEO, we believe leadership is built long before a title is earned. This episode is a powerful reminder that confidence, self-trust, and intentional decision-making are foundational skills for future CEOs — and they start forming far earlier than most people realize.

🎧 What You’ll Hear in This Episode:

    • Why discernment is a critical life and leadership skill for girls growing up online
    • What ethical leadership looks like in technology
    • Why asking questions, trusting intuition, and stepping outside comfort zones matter for leadership

    👤 About the Guest:

Juliette Blake is a second-time founder who has spent more than 20 years building media brands and digital platforms for girls. She launched Miss O and Friends as a hobby in high school, later growing it — after receiving investment from Procter & Gamble — into one of the top girl-focused websites globally. Her work expanded into original content with Hyperlinked, the first girls’ series funded by YouTube Originals and hosted on Disney.

Now, as a millennial mom, Juliette is focused on building a healthier digital future for kids through Moxies.
