    Grief is loss in any form. It feels heavy because it's the loss of a life you thought you once knew. The gift, even for a moment, is that the heaviness comes from a place of their impact on you making you who you are and you get to carry that impact forward.

    1) Recognize your moments of grief as a normal human experience.

    2) Find the joy amidst the loss - how did that person or moment have an impact on you?

    3) What can you carry forward from that relationship or experience?

    4) In the pits of the loss, connect with people. This helps build your fabric leading to softer days ahead.

    1) Recognize your go to coping method when you feel the negative emotions coming in - are they positive or negative coping strategies and adjust as needed.

    2) Give yourself space to feel and connect (don't isolate)

    3) Be real, not the version that culture expects.

    4) Commit to a culture that normalizes lighter days and reach out when you recognize someone struggling
