  • What is the Eugene Education Foundation? What do they do? How you can help them and Eugene School District 4J students.
    Mar 14 2024

Eugene School District 4J and the Eugene Education Foundation (EEF) have been partners for more than 20 years. EEF was founded in 1993 to provide more 4J student enrichment. The non-profit raises money through several sources and uses that money to reward grants to teachers and other 4J staff for projects and materials.

In this episode we learn how EEF helps students and staff, and the type and number of grant requests filled in the 2023-24 grant cycle.

EEF has to do a tremendous amount of fundraising to fulfill all of the request they receive. EEF’s biggest fundraiser is their 2024 EEF Spring Gala, Moving Forward Together, which is happening on March 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM at the U of O Ford Alumni Center.

Tickets are available on EEF’s website, eef.lane.org. If you can’t make the event, donations are also accepted through EEF’s website.
