Every week, one true crime case… Two truths, one lie!

In 2 Truths and a Crime, I walk my husband Ty—who knows very little about true crime—through some of the most shocking, twisted, and unbelievable cases out there. At the end of each episode, Ty has to decide: which two details are true… and which one is a lie?

Expect jaw-dropping cases, genuine reactions, dark humor, and the fun chaos of testing whether love really means trusting your spouse.

Join us for this weeks episode as we break down the Kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart after the new recent documentary came out on Netflix.
In the early hours of June 5, 2002, 14-year-old Elizabeth Smart was taken from her bedroom in Salt Lake City, Utah — sparking one of the most intense missing-person investigations in American history. Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart, the new Netflix documentary, revisits this shocking case with alot more detail. Since this was the crime that got me (kallie) into true crime as a young teen, I thought it was the perfect time to break down the details and try to trick Ty with this hometown murder.

Elizabeth Smart (Kidnapped: Elizabeth Smart) is now a child safety advocate and founder of the Elizabeth Smart Foundation.
