This is our last all-SRR RS episode for this season. Imagine yourself in the first days of summer and once again the Green and Gold passenger and black freight steam locomotives of the Southern Railway are roaming across the system. For this episode, we will cover an imaginary June Southern Safari in Indiana, Illinois, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, and Virginia, to hear the sounds of steam on a railroad that was the first to dieselize, but in the future will see a reembrace of steam.
