Hello listeners! Welcome to the Historical Motion Picture Organisation, a podcast in which I imagine ancient history in the manner of fictional, HBO style productions.
This is the sixth of an eight part series about the life of King Mithridates VI, ruler of the Kingdom of Pontus, and the decades long struggle he lead against the Roman Republic.
With both sides facing internal unrest, an uneasy truce of convenience is signed between Pontus and Rome, but deep-seated resentments and unsettled scores soon bring a return to conflict.
