An amazing book, very clear and in parallel enjoyable to listen to because of Russ Harris. A life changing initiative with easy to understand theory and many many practical tasks.

How do bring ACT alive

This approach to ACT focuses on practice and repetition, which is very much necessary for everyone working with ACT. I worked through the book "a liberated mind" first, which covers more theory and better structure. But this one excels in the practical part and the real live connection.
I recommend this to everyone who would be interested to keep the theory short in favor of more practical explanations and exercises.
For my part, "a liberated mind" was the best starting point and this one is a good follow up :)

Very practical approach with a lot of repetition

Peace

This was definitely one of the better self help books I've read in a while. They made a bunch of good points, though a lot of things I already knew. Focusing on accepting your feelings, being in the moment, finding healthy ways to go about thoughts and feelings. It felt a bit repetitive though, for the exercises, to mention every time to stop what you're doing, to actually do it, and to mention the Happiness Trap Extra Bits so often, without it the audiobook would've been a lot shorter.

Helpful points

Bottom-Up Highjacking, Stammhirn usw..
