im glad the story went the way it did. i got over being uncomfortable pretty quickly after the first act and the book gripped me so much i listened through it in two days. usually i take more time for audiobooks!
and the VA is amazing, aher vocal range is fantastic and she really breathes life into all the different characters! i hope to hear more from her in the future!

narrator: sounds always sad and whiny and I just gave up after half the book, because I couldn't stand her anymore.
story: uncomfortable, and I enjoyed The left hand of darkness or Alien clay, so this book here is uncomfortable on a level of writing. The writing style has no beauty in it, neither the world building nor the characters are interesting or new and there is only dread.
